Introduce Yourself
By the end of this lesson, you can say hello, give your name and say where you are from, out loud, in Greek.
Every Greek phrase comes with a pronunciation guide in brackets and a recording. You do not need to read the Greek letters yet.

Γεια σου! Είμαι ο Κώστας. (ya sou! eimai o Kostas) — Hello! I'm Kostas.
Γεια σου! Είμαι η Μαρία. (ya sou! eimai i Maria) — Hello! I'm Maria.
Greek normally puts a small word before a name: ο for a man, η for a woman. Why it goes there comes in Unit 2.
